Huh. This one's going to take a few posts to cover, but let's start at the beginning. Geraldine Ferraro, Democratic stalwart and the first woman to run for vice president in 1984 said this in an interview:

This is still making my head hurt. Geraldine Ferraro, who made her initial comments on the matter in the Daily Breeze, continues in her curious belief that Barack Obama is getting a better shake because he's Black.

This ABC News report needs no further comment:
The Bush Administration apparently does not want a U.S. military study that found no direct connection between Saddam Hussein and al Qaeda to get any attention. This morning, the Pentagon cancelled plans to send out a press release announcing the report's release and will no longer make the report available online.

Did anyone see Pat Buchanan vehemently tell co-panelist, Keli Goff to just "shut up" on the Dan Abrams show earlier this evening? Kelli, Pat and Rachel Maddow were discussing Geraldine Ferraro's comments about Barack Obama's apparent "special benefits card" which curses those who are against him with The Scarlet R (racist)?
