Trying something new here. As some of you may know, I'm a long-time podcaster. Using some of the tech capacity, I thought I'd try posting audio instead of text on the Obama Rally and include some of my thoughts along the way.

Here's How this Thing Is Going to Go

Here we are again on another "Super Tuesday" as defined by the media.

North Carolina and Indiana can take away any rational excuses for Hillary to keep hacking away at Obama.

Assuming he is going to win North Carolina with a sizable margin all he really has to do is have Indiana end in a dead heat or win and she has to get out.

GO INDIANA GO!!!

Tyrion--a blogger who clearly has more time than I do--has done Indiana voters a favor by digging in to investigate the accuracy of Dr. Woody Meyer's version of his testimony. Details are here.

Have trusty cellphone, will audioblog, ya'll. Listen to me try to figure out who the hell I'm going to vote for...and, um, what happened to my precinct. Seems that, in my zeal over the presidential primary, I neglected (read: didn't give a flying fig about) who was running in the other matchups.

Tell me again how the Voter ID law--now blessed by our pro-authoritarian Supreme Court--will only hurt people intent on committing voter fraud?

According to the AP:

About 12 Indiana nuns were turned away Tuesday from a polling place by a fellow bride of Christ because they didn't have state or federal identification bearing a photograph.

I'm getting ready to head out the door to Sheila's. We're going to watch the election results come in. I, the wine spritzer drinker, am going to be drinking gin...from my niece's silly straw.

I've been looking for a good election ticker to put on the site. Though I can't yet find a perfect one, here's one I like: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/state/#val=IN

This primary is a knuckle biter with only 40,000 odd votes separating Obama from Clinton.

Given that Lake County will be the last Indiana county reporting in (operating on CP time, no doubt), here's my tribute to Gary.

Poll
Will the Choice of Biden and not Bayh Make it Harder for Obama to Win Indiana?
Yes. Evan Bayh would have energized Indiana Democrats and "tipped" the state.
0%
Maybe. But choosing Bayh would have made it much, much harder to win the election.
60%
No. Indiana voters know Bayh, and choosing him would have reflected poorly on Obama's judgment.
40%
Hard to say.
