MelissaT's blog

My computer at home hasn't been working so I feel a bit out of the loop. If we are could someone call or text me and let me know the details. (317-809-7194)

Thanks!
Melissa

Sadly, I wonder just how much Bristol Palin will bear the brunt of the blame when/if McCain/Palin loose instead of people focusing on her mother's inadequacies.

The thought made my stomach churn a little. I feel for the poor girl.

Anyone be interested in getting a group together for an Election Night Countdown/Celebration (fingers crossed!)

Either way the night turns out I'm thinking I'm going to need need either a shoulder to cry on or (more optimistically) others to celebrate with. (Lord knows I'm not going to sleep at all that night.)

Oh and are we still getting together this month at Tea's Me?

I was ridiculously proud of myself last night. So much so that I literally did a little dance all evening.

So I'm at work all night again and it's relatively a slow night so I have quite a bit of time to catch up on blogs, and other assorted articles that I (try to) keep up with. (A task that's growing increasingly difficult since the semester started two weeks ago.)

Seriously? As someone who has worked in pediatrics for 13 years I find this strange little side story of hers to be a little suspicious....

Ha~ I finally came home and, after getting a few hours of sleep, I remembered a Reuters article I read recently that reminded me of our discussion this morning.

Enjoy~

Not everyone can meet our nudist standards.

Birthday Cookout for Change

LOL~ I love it. I'm tempted to take the kids and go to one of the ones near me...

I remember Officer Friendly and McGruff from grade school. That, to the best of my recollection, was the extent of my grade school experience with law enforcement. I was taught that police existed primarily to protect and serve the community and catch the bad guys.

I was listening to the news (WTHR) this evening while fixing dinner and I thought I heard the anchor open a segment about the Muncie Cross Burning with the line, "A burning reminder..."

What's tougher to get than a same-sex marriage? A same-sex divorce

I just keep asking myself why the hell is it the government's business who someone loves or commits to? Do they REALLY have nothing better to commit their time and energy to???

Several comments and thoughts on the two shows that aired the 23rd & 24th.
