American Values Alliance | Practical voice for progressive valuesChris Matthews performed a public service on his show, taking on one of the all-too-common rightwing bloviators that populate the airwaves. His guest--a particularly obnoxious representative of the genre--was screaming about how right Bush was to call Obama an appeaser. Matthews did what too few reporters and television hosts are willing to do, and the results were delicious.
Here's the conclusion of the majority decision affirming the right of California gay couples to marry:
George W. Bush made a speech comparing Barack Obama's willingness to engage in diplomacy to those who appeased the Nazis before WWII.
The timing of this charge is interesting.
At 10:00 a.m. (Pacific time) Thursday, the California Supreme Court will render its decision in the Golden State's same-sex marriage litigation.
John McCain's age has been a recurrent theme of the campaign so far, but if you really want to get an idea just how old he is, this site's compilation may surprise you. It surprised me, and hey--I'm older than dirt!
