Former AVA Web Master Makes the News with His Bilerico Project Success

Lalita Amos | 02/11/2008 - 13:01

For those of you who don't know, Bil Browning, co-founder of the highly successful Bilerico Project, has turned his ad hoc blog into a well-known, highly sought-after web portal for the hearts and minds of the LGBT community. Read this from the Indy Star and congratulations, Bil!

Here's a snippet:

In just four years, The Bilerico Project has grown from a Web site about Indiana politics and the gay community to a national blog with 50 contributing writers and guest posts from the likes of presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton.
The blog is drawing national advertising. And last month, Browning and his business and life partner, Jerame Davis, decided to form Bilerico Media LLC to invest in the blog and launch others.

I love it when a hometown boy makes good! Bil's excellent work has raised the bar for the rest of us Indy bloggers!

Bil Browning | 02/12/2008 - 08:33 |  Thanks Lalita

Thanks for the kind words, Lalita. I appreciate it. We've worked really hard to get to where we are so I'm proud that the Indy Star decided to recognize what we've done for the LGBT community.
