I'll Toss Obama Under the Bus for 400

Lalita Amos | 03/04/2008 - 18:44

Still wanting to like Hillary, but I just can't seem to get it done. She's the perennially smart kid in class who's primacy as a whiz has never been challenged, until another smart kid shows up. This new kid has more style and is better liked and that pisses the original smart kid off.

So, rather than teaming up with the new smart kid (maybe there are complimentary gaps in their, uh, smartitute--go with it) she's beating up on him.

That'll teach him.

What worries me about Senator Clinton is this: how is it that she spent all those years sidled up next to you Southern Charmer husband (and charmer he was) and still come off as petulant as she does. It seems to me that Hillary's rubbed off on Bill and not the other way around.

Have you just seen her new attempt to have a Clinton/Obama ticket with her at the top…

(Allegedly), he only exposed himself to Paula and only pawed at the human humidor.

Hillary can be charming when she wants, but it doesn't seem natural, like Bill's charm.

Without thinking too deeply about it, I would propose that Hillary might be a "Woodrow Wilson" kind of President. Smart, but blinkered and superficial. Thought he could do it all alone. Thought everybody should just acquiese to his brilliance. When his health faltered, his spouse ran things (instead of the Vice President). His self-styled crowning achievement fell flat at home, and actually exacerbated factors that led to the Great Depression, World War II, and third world extremism.

If she would break down and listen once in a while, she could avoid that and be a much better President.

Then Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers and in a few years, Monica Lewinski should be clear contenders.

Besides, you've been with me every day as I've built my business. Are you qualified to take it over (a la Hillary)?

So, Lalita, are you suggesting that the driving force in the Clinton white house was Hillary? G. A. Borden, II

No. Nothing against Hillary, but Bill is a loose canon and would be a constant distraction and/or embarrassment.
