Personal responsibility of poll workers…

Bettina Settles | 03/11/2008 - 09:22

I normally do not watch regular news on main stream TV but this morning again we had some of the Poll workers that decided it is not up to them to be on time or even show up at all.

I will not blame Clerk Elizabeth L. White the Marion County Indiana Clerk, I will put the responsibility on the people who decided to volunteer for the day and for the position and this is the person that needs to be held personal accountable for their actions.

I also see the lack of responsibility and lack of respect of others time more and more in the business world. How many times have I observed personally and with others that appointments where made, confirmations where sent out and accepted but the person either is late or does not show up at all.

What happened to the common curtsey of either calling or e-mailing that you are either late or will have to cancel?

....and don’t tell me you had no time, then I will tell you you have to much on your plate….

Poll
Will the Choice of Biden and not Bayh Make it Harder for Obama to Win Indiana?
Yes. Evan Bayh would have energized Indiana Democrats and "tipped" the state.
0%
Maybe. But choosing Bayh would have made it much, much harder to win the election.
60%
No. Indiana voters know Bayh, and choosing him would have reflected poorly on Obama's judgment.
40%
Hard to say.
