OK. I'll admit to being "hooked" when I heard Vice President Cheney say this to Martha Raditz.

"You cannot be blown off course by the, uh, fluxuations in public opinion polls."

Sure, you can, Mr. Vice President. You can be removed from office or not re-elected. Besides, those pesky polls really do mean something. We're ramping up for our quadrennial poll--it's called an election

He is very right when he says that we're gaining ground in the war. However, I'm not sure it was the right war in the first place. Not that I'm anti-war. I think we should have rooted out the Taliban and Al Queada from their strongholds in Afphanistan.
