Murderer of Young Transwoman Says He Killed "It"

My aunt is M-F Trans so when I read this article it affected me extraordinarily deeply. I've personally witnessed discrimination against her by the medical field (during a life and death situation) and the memory of that event still haunts and nauseates me over ten years later. I don't think I will ever understand how one can harbor so much anger and hatred toward someone simply because they are different.
